“We need to see the city’s needs for what they are, addressing neighborhood issues thoughtfully and with attention to all. We are not a community of East or West. We are one great city.”
I have longevity and investment in our community. My family took root in Cranston over 60 years ago after immigrating from Italy. I chose to live in Cranston when I got married because I love this city, its diverse population and its landscape. Unlike many of the other candidates, I have lived on both the eastern and western sides of the city, giving me first hand perspective on the issues across our community. I want to serve city-wide because I believe that many-if not most -of our issues are of concern to all of us. A decision for one neighborhood may not fit another, but the path we take to make that decision should be shared across Cranston. At the same time, we need to make sure that our neighborhoods are being treated fairly and equally and that all needs are met, regardless of geography.
We have a strong municipal code and offices to support it. I will work to make sure we are doing our job the right way and that everyone is held to the same standard.
